I’ve presented my ideas at venues ranging from Davos to Google headquarters to the Singaporean cabinet. My presentations are always customized for specific client needs. Theycluster around the following themes:
The Six Intelligences – We need a new playbook in order to navigate effectively in a time of discontinuity. A new portfolio of competencies must include: finely honed situational awareness, innovation sophistication and digital literacy, emotional intelligence, a moral compass, and the ability to galvanize needed transformation. Taken together, they comprise the deep “how” of leadership.
Jamming – Improvisation as the heart of innovation - This truly is the age of improvisation -today’s organizations must have the creativity and agility to generate value on the fly. I explore these ideas in my best selling book Jamming that describes the lessons leaders can learn from jazz. As Yamaha’s first “artist in innovation,” I can memorably demonstrate the deep principles of innovation with the optional use of a grand piano.
Reimagining Innovation - Given the complex challenges facing civil society, innovation remains an absolute requirement. Yet there are profound gaps between the desire for innovation and the ability to do it effectively. Innovation must be reimagined for today’s realities and focus on the “how” of practice.

My executive jam sessions draw from my experience in designing executive programs at Harvard Business School on innovation and business creativity. I am an experienced and eclectic facilitator, able to work with a wide range of leadership teams to address major challenges, resolve strategic questions and create meaningful action agendas.
